Description
The Council is considering commissioning a service to support vulnerable persons and requires a provider to support the financial administration of deposit bond scheme, rent in advance payments and ongoing rent income and outgoings. The Council wishes to test the level of market interest in such a service before commencing any commissioning process. The proposed contract period will potentially be for three years with further two years extensions available. It is anticipated that the contract will begin on the 1st April 2020. The estimated contract value will be approximately £168,000 over five years, this is based on a management fee of 4% and rents being £70,000 per month.
The level of interest shown in this market consultation will support the council considering possible procurement routes for this potential service. If the Council does proceed with such a service, it is estimated that the Council will issue the tender in December 2019 to January 2020.
If you are interested in this opportunity please complete an expression of interest by 12:00 pm the 28th October 2019.
