Description

Worcester City Council (WCC) wishes to appoint a competent Contractor for the provision of Legionella Monitoring and the production of water risk assessments across their sites. The Contractor will identify and consider all water related systems which could potentially create a risk to health.

Worcester City Council's in-house Property & Asset Management Team is responsible for the strategic and operational management of over 300 properties and sites. There are currently around 70 properties that require water risk assessments carried out every two years. A list of sites can be seen in Appendix 1. Further sites may be added in the future.

Properties and sites included in the service range from public buildings (mainly non-housing) and associated structures to depots, offices, community centres, allotments within the local government boundaries of Worcester City Council. The buildings range from Listed Grade I & II, historic parks to contemporary construction and housing.
