Description

The primary objective is to establish a robust and highly scalable platform capable of supporting comprehensive national transport analysis across a variety of scenarios and datasets. This advanced system is specifically designed to significantly decrease the time required for transport modelling activities, thereby improving operational efficiency and unlocking new opportunities for innovation and growth within the sector. By streamlining modelling processes, stakeholders will be better positioned to respond to emerging trends and policy requirements.
The implementation of the National Transport Analysis Platform (NTAP) will serve as a critical enabler for subsequent advancements in Activity-Based Modelling (ABM) and the development of sophisticated freight modelling solutions. Insights gained from NTAP's deployment are expected to directly inform and enhance future modelling strategies, ensuring that the transport analysis framework remains responsive, data-driven, and at the forefront of industry best practice.
