Description

East Sussex Fire Authority is seeking to award a contract to support its contract for the provision of building maintenance, repairs and low value improvement works across its estate in East Sussex and Brighton and Hove. This contract will provide for a number of Capital Works projects over the next three years in support of station refurbishments with a view to reduce the risk of on site fire contaminant products. It is expected each specific project will cost between £50,000 and £600,000 to complete.

We have plans at present to spend around £6m across the initial term of this contract but accept that with the constraints on availability of resources and material supply and other factors, we may not manage to achieve it all. We also have a number of ancillary projects relating to our training facilities and the creation of an Engineering hub that may be included within this contract which could increase the value further.

Each project will be subject to affordability and specific budget approval so none can be guaranteed until we discuss site specifics with the successful supplier. However, most of the funding is in place to allow us to proceed at pace.

Suppliers need to be registered to use the portal to respond, but registration is free and further information can be found via https://uk.eu-supply.com. For problems with registering please contact initially the EU Supply Portal support via uksupport@eu-supply.com. If you still have difficulties after doing so, please email procurement@esfrs.org.
