Description

We want to commission professional advisors to work with us to set up a new co-operative organisation, the House Project, an innovative project providing housing and holistic support to our young people in care to enable them to leave care and achieve successful independence and improve their health, housing and employment outcomes. Specifically, we are looking for professional advisors to support us to: • Determine a legal model, governance and organisational form that will meet current and future objectives of the House Project. • Develop a 5 year business plan for the new organisation. • Enable the swift and successful set up and sustainable delivery of the House Project. • Enable young people and the new organisation to understand and fulfil their responsibilities. • Provide this advice in a form that enables us to share the process with other local authorities who may wish to adopt the same approach in the future. It is critical that the advisors we appoint are committed to working closely with our young people in delivering this support as involvement of our young people in the design and development of the House Project is fundamental to its success.
