Description
Applications are invited to provide Psychology. Psychiatry and Counselling services for doctors and dentists in Postgraduate Training within Health Education England working across the West Midlands (HEEWM).
The aim of the psychology, psychiatry and counselling service is to provide face to face access to psychological and psychiatric therapies for all grades of doctors and dentists in training within HEEWM who after a referral to the Professional Support Unit it is deemed would benefit from this intervention.
This service will cover approximately 80 Doctors and Dentists in training, per year and the care pathway recommended for each referral will need to consider the reason, context and complexity of the case whilst being mindful of the NICE guidelines for Depression and Anxiety and a stepped care approach.
