Description

The Council wishes to appoint provider(s) for the provision of Return Home Interviews for Missing Children and associated Support Services.

The Service will offer and undertake statutory return home interviews to children who have been reported missing from home or care to the Police. Some of the children and their families will also require specialist ongoing support to address the identified reasons for going missing, to enable them to make safe choices about not running away from home, and coping with difficulties. The service will be closely linked in with Police, First Response, Families in Focus, Targeted Youth Services, and other targeted and specialist services to ensure that missing person reports are triaged and responded to in a timely way, that children who have received a return interview go on to receive further ongoing support, and to aid effective information sharing about contextual safeguarding.

The contract will be for a period of 3 years, plus 2 optional extensions of 12 months each, for a maximum contract term not to exceed 5 years. The contract has a fixed budget of £75,700 per annum - bidders will be required to demonstrate how they can deliver value for money within this budget.

Bids should be submitted using the Council's e-tendering portal, Pro-Contract, available here;
https://procontract.due-north.com/Register

A bidders' briefing will be held at City Hall in Bristol between 14.00 - 16.00 on the 26th of April 2019. Please contact Alistair Little via the portal if you wish to attend.
