Description

Contracts Finder advert wording for one stage process

National Citizen Service (NCS) is the country's fastest-growing youth movement, a rite of passage for all teenagers aged 15-17 to discover who they are and what they can do. Nearly 500,000 young people have already taken part. Find out more at www.ncsyes.co.uk

NCS currently has the following opportunity for the provision of Consultancy Services for Innovation and Design Support.

National Citizen Service (NCS) Trust would like to procure a consultant who can work with NCS to provide support for Innovation and Service design as we prepare to launch a refreshed curriculum and pilot possible new approaches to our services.

In support of the ongoing review of NCS's long-term strategy and services, NCS requires consultancy support to deliver the following outputs:

1. Provide a comparative analysis between services delivered by other organisations which align with NCS's outcomes, and NCS's existing programme and extension services;

2. Provide an analysis of emerging trends and ideas from the world of character education and skills development that can inform future NCS curriculum and service design;

3. Provide recommendations on ways to optimise NCS Extension services for greater reach and impact, including links to non-NCS services;

4. Provide options for how to build digital innovations into NCS programme services;

5. Support the ongoing development of a lean service design process to build and test minimum viable products for service design innovations that can then be brought to scale in the future if successful.
