Description

King George V Playing Fields, Prescot, Football and Community Hub - Playing Pitch Enhancement Works
Grass playing pitch enhancement works, including drainage improvements and surfacing conditioning.

Out of a total weighting of 100%, this was split into 40% quality (with 20% for Social Value) and 60% price. A compliant competitive exercise was undertaking in accordance with Contract Procedure Rule 7 and the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

Following consideration of the legislation and risks inherent with the contract and the position of the local (Knowsley / Liverpool City Region) market place, this took the form of the issuing of a Request for Quotation (RfQ) through a closed competition with the invitation of at least 3 bidders.
