Description

The Council is seeking to commission a suitably experienced and qualified contractor to capture and deliver a digital clone for Bradford. The digital clone will satisfy the LOD3.0 specification, with the inclusion of textured imagery to drape onto those buildings. The digital clone will be supplied to the Council without any Copyright or Intellectual Property Right conditions, enabling the Council to publish the data as open data under the terms of the Open Government Licence, including any future revisions of that licence. This project will be part funded by the European Union SCORE project; which will complete in January 2022, therefore the latest completion date for this project will be October 2021. The council is very aware that the digital clone will be of a significant file size and it therefore expects the successful tenderer to provide a suitable platform for the storage and sharing of the digital clone data. The successful tenderer will provide, for a minimum of 10 years, with an option to extend, a platform for the storage and sharing of the digital clone. The Council would like the data sharing platform to be built on an open source platform and fully documented on GitHub; however this wouldn't be mandated as equivalent platforms may be acceptable. The Council has a budget of £24,999 and is not in a position to increase this budget.
