Description

The London Borough of Bexley is seeking to award a new road marking contract to replace its existing contract which expires on 30 November 2016.

The services will comprise the maintenance of existing road markings and the provision of new road markings where required throughout the London Borough of Bexley.

The services will fall into two main categories:

1. Maintenance of existing markings
Orders will be raised as and when required for the removal and/or refurbishment of existing road markings. In a typical year it is likely that the Engineer would issue approximately 350 works orders for maintenance tasks throughout the Borough.

2. Minor Traffic Schemes
These schemes will generally consist of new road markings for CPZ and other parking schemes including waiting restrictions and disabled and foot way parking bays. Approximately 50 schemes may be instructed in a typical year
