Description

• The UK is co-chairing the G20 Green Finance Study Group with China during the ongoing G20 process. Conduct an assessment of China's growing ambition for green finance and how will that intersect with the UK's expertise and strengths in this area, including but not limited to: research, policy, regulation and market sophistication;
• What regulatory changes and market infrastructure are still needed in order to better integrate China's rapidly growing domestic green finance market with global markets, and how;
• Explore options for the development of diverse green finance products and assess their feasibility, including scope to interact with initiatives such as Belt & Road financing.
