Description

Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (Arden & GEM CSU), on behalf of the NHS England - Health and Justice Team (the commissioners) would like to notify all potential bidders about a 'Market Engagement Event'.
This event has been arranged to provide information about the upcoming procurement of integrated offender healthcare services at Her Majesty's Prison (HMP) Gartree and HMP Whatton.
The event will explain what services are being tendered for, specific prison demographics and population profiles, an overview of the procurement process itself including timescales, as well as providing an opportunity for exchange of information and contacts between providers and lead bidders.

NOTE: An expression of interest in this Market Engagement event will not automatically entitle your involvement in any future procurement exercise. Any procurement conducted as a result of this event will be advertised separately and all organisations wanting to participate will need to respond to the procurement advertisement as and when it is published.
In addition to the Market Engagement Event, the commissioners have also planned 'prison site visits' which will provide potential bidders with the opportunity to visit the sites where the services will be provided from.

A maximum of two people per organisation are invited to each of the site visits

The names of attendees must be sent to Neelam.Saroe@ardengemcsu.nhs.uk no later than 3 working days before the date of the site visit.

Last minute changes of attendee names will not be accepted

Visitors must abide by the "Controlled Articles" protocol. Banned items include though are not limited to electrical devices including mobile phones, laptops, any metal objects, medication and chewing gum.

Both prison gate houses have lockers fort eh safe storage of personal items/valuables.

Visitors must have photo ID; passport or driving license.
