Description
Supply a clean room laundry service including the following items:-
No Specification
1 Clothing - Coat - MUST meet IIB ISO 4
2 Clothing - Undergarment (Tunic) - MUST meet ISO 7
3 Clothing - Undergarment (Trouser) - MUST meet ISO 7
4 Clean Room clothing MUST meet EN ISO 14644-5 : 2004
5 Particle decontamination MUST meet with ASTM F51-00
6 Provide a Bar coded stock control system that MUST record information on wash, repair and movement history of garments
7 The supplier MUST provide a full written history of the stock movement, cleaning process used and repair history of garments with each delivery
8 Coats MUST have centre zips with studs at cuffs (100% continuous filament polyester)
9 Undergarments (Tunic & Trouser) MUST be Full sleeved (100% continuous filament polyester)
10 The supplier MUST wet wash every load by thermal disinfection laundering (71 deg C for 11 minutes)
11 There MUST be Antistatic and Microbiological control by means of a topical anti-stat product
12 Garments MUST be processed in an ISO5 VLF validated clean room
13 There MUST be Microbiological monitoring of the water supply, liquid wash / biocide products, clean room and garments
14 Garments MUST be packed individually in hermetically sealed bags
15 There MUST be a detailed fitting exercise to ensure the correct sizing of garments
16 There MUST be a scheduled delivery and collection to the Pharmacy Department once a week.
17 There MUST be a Full Sales Service and liaison with the department on at least a Quarterly basis Per Annum
18 Given the timescales involved, will you be able to provide the Trust's required garments from contract commencement - YES / NO
If NO, please confirm your provision of loan garments Free of Charge to the Trust whilst the garments specific to the Trust are being produced.
19 All repairs to garments MUST be completed Free of Charge to the Trusts requirements.
