Description
Leicester City Council is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified contractor for the provision of maintenance and
installation of public lighting, signs, street furniture and festive decorations.
The Contract will be for up to five years, commencing on the 1st April 2021. The main purpose of this Contract is
to:
• Maintain the City's public lighting infrastructure (including illuminated and non-illuminated traffic signs and
bollards) in accordance with defined standards that are expected to rise throughout the Contract;
• Prepare, install, maintain, remove and store festive decorations for a range of events in the City;
• Install new street furniture, e.g. guard rails, traffic signs, bollards and lighting;
• Make reactive repairs to street furniture.
