Description

Somerset County Council (SCC) is looking to replace its existing fleet maintenance contract will expire on 31/03/2018. Currently, SCC has a fleet of 265 vehicles (the majority of which are owned by SCC) that require servicing, maintenance and body-work services and is seeking a partner to work in an agile and dynamic way to align with the Council's changing vehicle asset portfolio. In addition, there are 112 schools vehicles that will be able to utilise the services.The Contract will form part of a framework that is lotted by districts in Somerset for maintenance, servicing, and repair of vehicles (Lots 1-5), and by East and West Somerset for body-repair services (Lots 6 & 7). This framework will operate for 4 years from the 01.04.2018 - 31.03.2022.
