Description
City of York Council (CYC) is looking to commission short term, step-down and step-up assessment beds on a block purchase to support our patients and Customers with discharge from hospitals and prevent individuals from being admitted to hospital and enabling them to go Home. Home First being our main principle, minimising the need for longer term care. Placements will be required for people aged 18+ and 65+, the majority of placements are in the 65+ age group.
The Council are engaging with the market to seek expressions of interest from providers who have the capacity in the market to support the requirements set out in the expression of interest document and who can commence as soon as possible. The Council is looking for a range of providers who have the experience, knowledge, and the appropriate CQC registrations and trained staff to support this commission.
