Description

Leeds City Council is looking to tender for a framework agreement for the provision of white goods for Leeds residents experiencing severe financial hardship, through the Local Welfare Support Scheme (LWSS). Further to a market sounding exercise held earlier in the year, we are now seeking further feedback from suppliers on our proposed tender process and specification. Through the procurement process we are looking to deliver outcomes with a focus on social value through reusing, repairing and reducing waste. We would like to invite any interested suppliers to attend a supplier information event on Tuesday 6th December.

In order to book an appointment, please email financial.inclusion@leeds.gov.uk. The event will take place at Merrion House in Leeds, and we'd like to offer suppliers the option to either attend virtually or in person.

We will release our draft Specification to suppliers who have booked an appointment at least 2 weeks prior to the event, to give suppliers time to consider our requirements. At the session, we'll ask for feedback on the Specification and then a few specific questions. We'll also allow suppliers a short amount of time to ask questions relating to the Specification or the tender process only. We would ask that no more than 3 representatives from the supplier attend.

For more information or to book an appointment, please contact financial.inclusion@leeds.gov.uk.
