Description
The Council requires a supplier for the provision of Media Monitoring and associated services.
The Council is seeking for a supplier to provide a daily media monitoring service of relevant press cuttings from the national press, regional press, trade and consumer press, broadcast and online digital coverage. This coverage needs to be in the form of a daily e-mail alert and a web portal and be accessible by 10 council employees.
There is also a requirement for the software / web site to enable evaluation (either by the supplier or in-house by the Council) of each article for positivity, reach (and alternative measures used by the industry) and the ability to produce reports on this data.
The requirement for broadcast coverage is that mentions of the Council are to be picked up from all national radio and TV and local radio stations.
The Council require all national coverage and key local coverage (including Birmingham Mail, Birmingham Post and Sunday Mercury) to be delivered by 7am on the day of publication.
There should also be the option of sending out press releases via the portal and a database of up to date media contacts should be supplied
The site must be fully functional on mobile devices and tablets.
This contract will be for a period of 2 years with a 1 year extension provision commencing 01/07/2023 until 30/06/2025 (start date subject to change depending on mobilisation and implementation dates specified in proposals).
