With the implementation of a number of new infrastructure projects across North Buckinghamshire, there are significant opportunities to enhance the freshwater environment and create significant biodiversity net gain. Currently this area has a generally degraded water environment, with restricted ecosystem services and poor resilience to future stresses such as climate change.
