Description
The Kearsley Brook flood risk modelling study (JBA, 2015) has been used in conjunction with other available data to assess the flood history at the property. The modelling study found that the main source of flooding during the 2007 event was overtopping of the Kearsley Brook. This occurred because of the limited capacity of Kearsley Brook, exacerbated by an accumulation of debris on
structures within the channel.
Doncaster MBC seeks a passive property level protection solution to prevent entry of water into the outlined properties.
