Description

The University of Exeter is a rapidly expanding centre of internationally excellent research and education. As part of the CREWW project, we wish to procure a significant number of water level loggers. These will be deployed to measure surface water and ground water across multiple remote, upland, and lowland locations across the UK.

We require a significant number of water level loggers to continuously monitor surface water depth, river channel stage and water table depth, across multiple experimental catchments and river monitoring locations across the UK. These will be deployed in remote, upland, and lowland locations to monitor temporal changes in water storage and realise from ecosystems. Consequently, the units required must be very rugged, have sufficient internal memory to allow the long-term recording of near continuous measurements (i.e. at a 15 min timestep) and episodic data retrieval. Installation locations will also not have access to external power supply and will therefore need to have and have very low power requirements and internal power supplies.
