Description

The Council invites Quotations for the provision of Independent Review of AfC's Digital and IT Arrangements.

Achieving for Children (AfC) is a Community Interest Company created in 2014 by the Royal Borough of Kingston (RBK) and the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames (LBR) to provide their children's services. In August 2017, the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) became a co-owner of AfC, as a result AfC also operates and delivers children's services for RBWM.

AfC has a mixed model of delivery for its digital and IT services. This is split between delivery by AfC and Digital & IT (the shared IT service for Kingston and Sutton Councils).

All parties have agreed that, given the complexity of the AfC digital and IT landscape and changing demands, it would be beneficial and prudent for the owning councils to commission an independent comprehensive review of AfC's digital and IT arrangements.

This will be a spot contract for a one off piece of work lasting a maximum of 4-6 weeks.
