Description

Leicester City Council requires consultancy services from suitably qualified and experienced Suppliers to provide technical support and justification for clear, deliverable and ambitious energy and sustainable design and construction policies within the forthcoming new Leicester Local Plan.

The Authority is preparing a new Local Plan for consultation which will replace the adopted Core Strategy (2014) and saved policies from the saved Local Plan (2006). The new Local Plan will set out the vision and objectives for growth and sites for development in the City, up to 2036. This study will also be used to inform: the production of technical notes; and/or Supplementary planning documents; and Energy and/or sustainability assessments requested from applicants as part of the local validation requirements; and Data collected as part of the annual monitoring reports associated with the new Local Plan.
