Description

The Council is letting a contract for a suitably qualified Non-domestic property rating agent to: Analyse, prepare and deal with 'Material Change of Circumstance' (MCC) rating proposals in respect of The Council's operational sites which have been affected as a result of the 2020 Coronavirus and Government measures which have been put into place. With reference to the 2017 NNDR revaluation, to provide advice as to the accuracy of the 2017 Valuation Office Agency (VOA) assessments and thereafter, manage the Check, Challenge, Appeal (CCA) system and processing of appeals on behalf of HDC on its sites where the assessment is considered to be excessive and an appeal is financially viable.
