Description

The University wants to purchase a flow cytometer system with a clear and demonstrable ability to detect sub-micron particles such as bacteria, viruses and exosomes over system noise in a high-throughput manner, primarily for the analysis of aquatic samples (drinking, waste and sea waters). It will be part of the Newcastle Flow Cytometry Core Facility (NU-FCCF) but will form a new satellite facility within the Faculty of Science, Agriculture and Engineering (SAgE) that will focus on aquatic-based flow cytometry. Funds to purchase the system have been provided by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) through the "Core Equipment" call.

The scope of this contract is for the supply, delivery and installation of the equipment as detailed in the ITT to the University, with after-sales support and 36 months warranty and maintenance. You can express your interest and then access the tender documentation via the link below.
