Description

The Council is seeking project management support to work on the Physical development and housing strands of the programme from July - October 2017. The successful candidate / organisation will work 4 days per fortnight and support delivery of the following tasks:

In January 2017, a new Director and assistant Director for Regeneration joined the Council to take forward the projects as identified in the published report. Since the establishment of the regeneration Directorate, the programme scope has increased and the programme now covers six key tranches, all underpinned by an invigorated approach to consultation, communication and stakeholder engagement Project management consists of the following main areas of work:

• Commissioning ongoing surveys as required for Newport Harbour and Nicholson road projects
• Supporting the development of development framework / delivery models for Newport Harbour and Nicholson Road
• Commissioning the Masterplanning of Newport Harbour and associated community and stakeholder involvement
• Working alongside Council officers to finalise the outline business case for Ryde Interchange and Esplanade
• Supporting the development of the 'Recharging the Battery' project
• Working with appropriate project leads to take forward new projects through delivery group and regeneration board
• Written reports as needed for monthly Delivery Group and Regen Board
