Description
HEE invites proposals from qualified organisations to develop and operationalise a provider-led commissioning consortium model for Learning Disability nurse apprentices in a pilot region (to be agreed) of England.
The key deliverables will be:
• An operational model and linked resources that can be used widely/ replicated across the country - to be produced within 3 months of project commencement
• Stimulation of learning disability nursing apprenticeship recruitment, with the aim of one cohort for 2019 as a minimum, subject to provider support
* Dissemination of project learning
In doing so the bidder must ensure that they:
• Collaborate with relevant Learning Disability and mental health institutions, nursing organisations and HEIs
