Description
Weston-super-Mare Town Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from suitably experienced and qualified companies for the design and provision of a Christmas Lighting for Weston-super-Mare Town Council. The successful applicant will be expected to supply, erect, take down, store and maintain the lighting. The contractor will need to have proven and demonstrated experience in similar projects and the wide ranging skill base to achieve the various elements of the contract which include client liaison, design, and installation of Christmas Lighting.
Companies from whom Weston-super-Mare Town Council procure goods and services must demonstrate that all practicable steps are being taken to allow equal access and equal treatment in employment and service delivery.
The Town Council has an annual budget of £36,291 and a 3 year contract from 2019/20 to 2021/22 is on offer. The Council will seek proposals based on quality and design rather than price. The submission must demonstrate quality and initial designs. It is essential that you are able to meet the deadline of switch-on day each November for the displays.
Registration of interest does not imply inclusion on the tender list. Invitations will be issued in late May or June 2019.
The evaluation will be in accordance with the following criteria, a fail under the Health and Safety criteria will automatically result in exclusion from the tender list. An aggregate of 3 or more fails will automatically result in exclusion from the tender list.

Interested parties are asked to submit Expressions of Interest to include their:
• Company name, address, contact name and registration number
• Company bankers' name and account number
• Details of any enforcement action under Health & Safety Legislation
• Brief details of two recent (within last 36 months) similar projects undertaken by the company (town orparish council projects preferred)
• Confirmation that the company will be able to submit a tender and should they be successful, install displays before 23 November 2019
