Description

The project is to model levels of contemporary agricultural pesticides in eight river catchments monitored as part of Catchment Sensitive Farming (CSF). The project will use the extensive time series of monitoring data available to calibrate an existing model to simulate the observed pesticide levels. The calibrated model will then be used in the evaluation and scenario testing of the range of CSF work with farmers to reduce pesticides at a catchment scale.
