The Authority required the EMTAS team for a futher year which is funded by the Schools Forum. This is an essential post delivering services to schools. There is a high risk of reduction to the EMTAS service if unable to use specialist supply cover from First Class supply. Schools Forum have agreed to fund the EMTAS team for another academic year and need to ensure that the team have the capacity to meet the needs of schools and their EAL pupils.
