Description

The Contractor's scope of work is to (1) compare the prices the Authority is to pay for food products to be supplied to prisons (pursuant to a contract awarded by the Authority) with the data the Contractor holds as to the market cost of those food products or food products within the same categories and (2) using this comparative data, track changes in the market price of those food products or categories, review proposed changes in the prices to be paid by the Authority and produce reports as requested by the Authority. Full details of the scope of work is set out in the Specification. The Authority may extend for: (a) a period of 1 year (i.e. 4 + 1); or (b) a period of 2 years (i.e. 4 + 2); or (c) a period of 2 years and a subsequent period of 1 year (4 + 2 + 1); or (d) 2 periods of 2 years (4 + 2 + 2); or (e) 2 periods of 2 years and a subsequent period of 1 year (4 + 2 + 2 + 1).

The value of the contract stated takes into account the maximum permissible term.
