Description

The Demolition of: Slough Basin Warehouse Site, Stoke Wharf, Stoke Road, Slough,Berkshire SL2 5AT

The site has been used by Travis Perkins for the last 20+ years, and has been a constant within an ever changing demographic of the area.

Due to the expansion of a number of businesses of a similar nature within the Slough Trading Estate, Travis Perkins has agreed to sell the freehold to Slough Borough Council (SBC).

The purchase of the land was completed on 16th June 2017 and SBC, along with the partnership of Slough Urban Renewal (SUR), are proposing a development of residential properties on the land.

The Slough Basin Warehouse structures will need to be demolished as soon as practically possible.

SBC/SUR hope to be in a position to have the area ready for development by early 2018.
