Description

The Council requires a contractor to work with the Interim Chief Executive and Council Leadership Team as they develop a collective vision/ambition statement and strategic planning framework for the Council that engages partners and builds collective leadership amongst system leaders around a clear set of shared goals. This initiative will sit alongside excellent delivery of core services that the city relies upon and the evolving work of the City Board. The statement of ambition will consist of a vision for place/community (and how it is developed) and what that means for development of the Council's capabilities.

The project should utilise a two phase draw down approach, with phase 1 being completed by September 2020. The requirements for phase 1 are set out below and should require an estimate of 30 days to complete (until September 2020). This will then provide the opportunity to review the requirements for Phase 2 which will be commissioned separately at a later date.

The requirements:
o Set-up and planning (prior to engagement and week 1)
o Staff Interviews: developing the initial hypothesis and story (Weeks 2 - 4)
o Workshops with Senior Colleagues: Testing reactions and co-developing ideas (Week 4 - 12)

The Contract will be for a period of up to 3 months.
