Description

This proposal is to build a multi-use teaching and research building using the innovative CobBauge method and, under a separate contract, to develop a multi-use garden outside the Sustainability Hub at Kirkby Lodge. The project extends the collaborative space for sustainability research, education and partnerships working and will allow the whole area to tell a sustainable story, providing learning spaces and examples of sustainability research where there once was a car park. The CobBauge building would serve as a proof of concept, displaying the findings of current research at Plymouth, and would encourage visiting student applicants to convert to full student places.
