Description

The Standards and Testing Agency (STA) is looking to procure a number of curriculum experts to provide independent expertise for the development of the Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) National Curriculum tests for English Grammar Punctuation & Spelling, English Reading and Mathematics, as well as Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum experts to provide advice on the development of the reception baseline assessment, between 1 February 2022 and 31 January 2024.

There will be a total of 18 posts offered across the subjects and levels.

Curriculum and EYFS Experts will have a thorough understanding of the national curriculum for KS1 and KS2 in England in mathematics, English reading, English grammar, punctuation and spelling or the EYFS framework (as appropriate to the role), including relevant professional experience and experience in the use of data. Such experience is likely to come from work in the classroom, as a subject advisor to schools, in curriculum development or test development.
