Description
Cambridgeshire County Council (CCC) and Peterborough City Council (PCC) are organising this workshop to ensure that the voice of partners influences the design of the new adoption service. There is a wealth of skill, knowledge and experience around adoption across the region, not least amongst those who have adopted, have been adopted and those working within the sector. This is an opportunity for individuals or groups to contribute to the development of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Regional Adoption Agency through informal consultation and sharing ideas, best practice and by attending this workshop.
Date and Time - Tuesday 25th September at 2pm
Venue - Suite 2, Stanton Training and Conference Centre, Stanton Way, Huntingdon, PE29 6XL
Duration - 2 hrs - tea, coffee and cake will be provided
Who should attend - SWs, Adopted adults, Adopters, managers and anyone working within adoption services. There are also separate conversations taking place with Adoption UK to ensure the voice of the child is included.
Attendance is limited to 40 places with a suggested maximum of 5 per organisation.
There will be a further event to launch the tender in November.
If you would like to attend, please can you let us know at: emily.sanderson@cambridgeshire.gov.uk
