Description
Defra intends to publish an Invitation to Tender (ITT) seeking one or more supplier(s) to deliver a project to tackle Sheep Scab to improve farm productivity in England.
The project will focus on providing advice, information to farmers/cluster groups within hotspots (geographic) to understand the sheep scab status of their flock and how best to remove and reduce spread of the disease which will be followed up with diagnostic testing to inform, advice and support farmers with 1:1 advice to equip them with the knowledge and information to prevent infection and reinfection.
The purpose of this notice is to notify the market of an opportunity to join a Supplier Engagement Event which will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday 11th August 2020. If you are interested in participating please contact kathryn.everitt@defra.gov.uk by Friday 7th August.
The intention is to publish the Tender documents in September 2020.
