Description

The Barnsley Central Collaboration of Schools is a group of seven Barnsley Schools who have taken the decision to work together to secure service improvements and efficiencies. All the schools are based either within or just outside the Town centre with easy access to the M1 and the local infrastructure. A map showing the location of all schools in the collaboration has been included for your information. Please note only Wilthorpe, Holyrood, Shawlands, Keresforth and Summer Lane primary will be included in this process. In view of the above the collaboration are looking for suitably qualified organisations to quote for the provision of their Grounds Maintenance Service. This includes both reactive and planned maintenance. The contract is for the period 1st April 2017 until 31st March 2019 (with an option to extend by a further 1 year until the 31st March 2020). Interested organisations are therefore requested to read all the supporting documentation and then complete the response evaluation document and Pricing Schedule A within the specification. Please use the request to quote form to give the total cost for the provision of the service .Failure to supply any documentation may mean we are unable to evaluate your bid. Potential bidders need to visit the school sites before submitting their quotation and appointments should be organised with the Business Manager at each school. Contact details have been included. The visit is only to view the site, not to market any services and any questions that bidders have must be raised via the YOR tender system.
