Description
Health Education England (HEE) (the Commissioner) will be commencing a tender for the delivery of supplementary training for pharmacist trainees (currently pre-registration pharmacist trainees, transitioning to the foundation year 1 model of training) across the North. HEE commissions pharmacist training places in hospital Trusts and General Practice, supplementary training will have the aim of supporting training in the workplace and the development of the core skills needed for entry into clinical practice.
This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to advise prospective providers of the Commissioners intention.
We also plan to hold a Market Engagement session, this will provide an opportunity for potential providers to find out more about the aims of the tender and contracts, the process involved as well as network with others. HEE will use the opportunity to gather intelligence from providers which may influence the final tender.

The commissioner reserves the right not to proceed with the Procurement, or any part thereof, or change the requirements as necessary at any time.
It is the intention of the commissioner that the procurement will be conducted as on OJEU Service Contract using an Open Procedure under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The ITT exercise is expected to be published via a separate advert in late October 2020.
