Description

The Maylands Business Centre is based in the Maylands Business Estate. The Centre was opened in June 2011 with the purpose of providing offices and light industrial units to start-up businesses and companies looking to move into their first commercial premises.

The business continues to operate at 100% capacity with a waiting list of small and start-up businesses.

Located near the Maylands Business Centre is a plot of land (approx. 0.36 acres in size) which is owned by the Council.

To increase the benefits the Centre brings, the Council are looking to extend the centre by constructing a new building next to the current Business Centre. This will then increase the capacity of the business centre which will allow the Council to accommodate more businesses from the waiting list.

The Council will be looking for a suitable company to demolish a small bungalow on site and then construct the new building from March 16 till November 16.
