Description
In February 2015 The University of Bradford and Jay Consulting produced a scoping study that provides recommendations on the future areas of development for the Industrial Centres of Excellence (ICE) Programme. The overarching aim of the Industrial Centres of Excellence (ICE) is to build strong and lasting partnerships between employers and schools, colleges and universities so that the skills young people develop and qualifications they achieve match those that employers need. The report produced was highly complimentary of the ICE programme viewing it as unique and leading international best practice. Specifically, it recommended that the ICE model should be used to address the higher level skills needs in the district. This tender seeks to develop the advanced skills pathways recommended within this report.
