Tender Detail

The tender is for the demolition of 7nr blocks of flats and other associated works. Works are located in Springfield Close and Fir Street, Thatto Heath, St Helens.

A brief description of the scope of works is : The works comprise the removal of asbestos and the demolition of 45 flats in seven three storey blocks and associated remedial work. Properties generally comprise of brick or block external walls, suspended concrete floors with pitched tile roofing except block1 which is of flat felt roof construction.

The Contract Programme is of vital importance to this project - and all work must be completed before 31st March 2017. The contractor is to allow for the needs of this programme within their tender submission.

The closing date for return of tenders is Friday 16th December @ 12noon. The priced form of tender and schedule of works is to be submitted 1before this deadline.

Programme start date is aiming for 30th January 2017 with a completion date of 31st March 2017.
