Description

The Council wishes to procure services to support Families and their Children with mentoring and advocacy.

We have an opportunity to improve how local services support and protect children, young people, and their families. As part of this programme, we seek to commission:

o Family Help Mentoring Support for families - a whole family approach to providing a comprehensive initiative aimed at enhancing the well-being, development, social and emotional needs and opportunities for children, young people, and their parents/carers. This is essential for children and young people to get the most out of their school experience, including their attainment, wellbeing, and wider lift chances.

o Child Protection Advocacy - we are seeking advocates for parents where a child is the subject of or likely to become the subject of a Child Protection Plan. This support would sit alongside Family Help Mentoring support but will also include providing support to and advocating for parents and carers during the Child Protection Conference process.

It is the Council's intention to divide these requirements into 4 Lots as follows:
o Lot 1 - North Locality
o Lot 2 - South & Central Locality
o Lot 3 - East Locality
o Lot 4 - West Locality
