Description

Support for those bereaved by murder and manslaughter has been provided by Ministry of Justice grant to the Homicide Service, currently provided by Victim Support, as well as a number of smaller organisations. The Ministry of Justice is intending to hold a competition to determine grant funding for support for those affected by murder and manslaughter in England and Wales. The proposed duration of the intended grant award is 2 years from 1 April 2019, with an option for the Ministry of Justice to extend for up to a further 2 years.

The Ministry of Justice is intending on awarding a national grant (England and Wales) for the services required. The Ministry of Justice wants to engage with a wide range of potential bidders and potential delivery structures.

MARKET ENGAGEMENT

It is intended that the Ministry of Justice will host a Market Engagement Event on Friday 7th September 2018 at the Foreign Commonwealth Office, King Charles Street, London, SW1A 2AH, United Kingdom. Details will be provided to those who have registered an interest in the opportunity.

Representatives from the Ministry of Justice shall describe their high-level requirements, its intended grant competition process and high-level performance requirements.

Following the briefing, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with the representatives from the Ministry of Justice and network with other interested organisations. Further information will be issued upon registering to attend the event.
