Description
This Framework Contract (FW) will ensure the availability of skilled Contractors to deliver the above Framework, requiring differing values and complexities as required during the Framework Contract and intends to have 2 lots under this framework:
Lot 1 : Responsive Repairs
Lot 2 : Planned Works
Contractors should note that both lots include work in both residential and commercial premises.
The FW duration is initially for 24 months with two options to extend for a further 12 months each at the sole discretion of the Authority and is anticipated to commence in October 2024.
Each Call Off will state whether the Frameworks Contractor will be operating in the capacity of either Principal Contractor or Sub Contractor which will be determined on a project specific basis.
The works required under this FW can include, but is not limited to:
• Liaison with Authority Design Team, Estimators, Authorised Officers
• Liaison with other Contractors
• Production measurements
• Developing compliant fire stopping solutions
• Supplying and installing fire batts
• Supplying and installing proprietary fire curtains
• Supplying and installing other fire resistant proprietary products
• Making Good penetrations
This FW Contract will ensure availability of skilled Contractors to deliver the Planned Service requiring differing values and complexities as required for the Framework Contract. Successfully awarded Contractors will be required to work together with North Tyneside Council (the Authority) to drive improvements and support the aims and ambitions of the Contract.

Contract Duration
The initial contract is for 24 months with two options to extend for up to a further 12 months each after which renewals will be undertaken in accordance with the Authority's contract Standing Orders and at the sole discretion of the Authority and in line with the Authority Requirements for the Framework.
Number of Successful Tenderers
The maximum number of Contractors to be awarded on the Framework = 3 (three) per Lot
