Description

The scope of the works is the planning, design, installation & commissioning of 1No. new lateral combined sewer outfall connection (including 1No. demarcation point) & 3No. new demarcation manholes/ connection points to existing sewer outfall connections in the Public Realm of London SW1A. The demarcation points are required to connect 4No. new pumped rising main (Private Realm) discharges to 3No. existing & 1No. new lateral sewer outfall connections to the local Thames Water sewer network (to adoptable Thames Water standards). The works & or services to be provided include the following:
a) If a 2-stage procurement approach is adopted, subject to agreement with the Supplier, the 1st stage works will include planning & design services up to a RIBA Works Stage 4 level of detail to plan & manage the design, survey & validation of the new & or existing lateral sewer connections required in London SW1. The Planning, Design & Management services shall include coordination with Thames Water, Westminster City Council & other Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for the works based on the Employers RIBA Work Stage 3 Developed Design information. At the end of the 1st stage an agreement will be reached between the Employer & the Supplier on a Price & Programme for the planning, design, supply, installation and commissioning of 1No. new & 3No. existing lateral sewer connections with 4No. demarcation manholes/ points to Thames Water adoptable standards for operational availability by May 2021.
