Description
Merseytravel requires a Multi Party Framework Agreement with suitably experienced consultants in the following areas: -
- Lot 1 - Tunnels Engineering Consultancy
- Lot 2 - Rail Engineering Consultancy
- Lot 3 - Marine - Naval Architectural Services
- Lot 4 - Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy
- Lot 5 - Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Consultancy
- Lot 6 - Architectural Services
- Lot 7 - Transport Policy and Planning Consultancy
- Lot 8 - Quantity Surveying
- Lot 9 - Safety, Quality and Environmental Consultancy
- Lot 10 - Programme/ Project Management
- Lot 11 - Highways Infrastructure Consultancy
- Lot 12 - Business Case development
- Lot 13 - Topographical Surveys
Merseytravel's estate comprises of various offices; Bus stations; Ferry terminals; public attractions such as Spaceport and the U-Boat Experience, Engineering Workshops, Bus & Rail Park & Ride facilities; both the Kingsway and Queensway Mersey Tunnels and associated assets including ventilation stations and public spaces.
The greater share of the anticipated commissions to be undertaken via the Framework, are expected to be centred on Merseytravel's assets. However, the successful Framework Consultants may also be expected to undertake commissions and services for other partners of the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority which includes Halton, and in this instance the Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP).
Sites relating to other partners of the Combined Authority will cover a broad array of Local Authority properties. Buildings vary in purpose and include, but not exhaustively, Libraries, Depots, Municipal Buildings, Housing and Social Services Offices, Nurseries & Schools, other facilities for children and young people, Health Buildings, Public Conveniences and Residential Properties.
For the Tunnels lot assets for partners other than Merseytravel may include, not exhaustively, subways, underpasses and any type of underground tunnel or passage.
For the Quantity Surveying lot - a number of the buildings within the Combined Authority's property portfolio are listed. Successful bidders will be required to have experience in all categories of such property.
The successful framework bidders will be required to be sufficiently flexible to cope with fluctuations in and the types of services required.
