Description
Removal of old aluminium windows, frames and sills. Replace with white powder coated aluminium windows with top third openable with folding cam openers. Some windows are high level and all will need Teleflex winding gear to operate. Remove all external timber doors and replace in white powder coated aluminium doors. The winning bid of this tender for Moorlands school may be given the opportunity to extend the scope of works to include another school in Southampton of the same type of window replacement to the value of £80k. The school is St Monica Primary School, Bay Road, Southampton. A plan is attached in the document folder. The works will involve removing timber windows and doors and replacing in powder coated aluminium. If the works are awarded the installation will carry on from the completion of this current project and likely begin in October 2017. Detailed scope of works and drawings will be issued at a later date to the winning tenderer.
