Description

2287/434/JT/NW/19 - Purchase of Laser Powder Bed Fusion System

The University of Sheffield, AMRC North West wishes to invite tenders for the provision of a Laser Powder Bed Fusion System (L-PBF).The L-PBF will be used to manufacture prototype components for a range of applications for industries such as aerospace, medical, space and automotive. The L-PBF must be able to process reactive powders in a safe controlled machine environment.

This procurement is an EU open procedure conducted in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015

Delivery Notes

The equipment is to be delivered, positioned and commissioned in the AMRC North West's interim facility in Preston (PR1 2UX) and then in Q1 or Q2 2021 in its final location in the AMRC North West new building at the Aerospace Enterprise Zone at Samlesbury.
